This course gives those responsible for health and safety a basic understanding of the main features that should be contained in an organisation’s Health and Safety Policy. It identifies the significant legislation related to health, safety and welfare at work and explains how the law affects both the team leader and team members. The course also highlights the need to train all employees in health and safety procedures and outlines the appropriate ways of dealing with injuries and dangerous occurrences in the workplace.
