Fishing Challenge
Research shows that one in four British adults gets anxious when they face everyday word challenges such as using apostrophes, reading instructions on a label or writing a note to their boss [1]. If you worry that your English skills let you down at home or at work, this course is a great way to have fun and learn at the same time.
The aim of the Fishing Challenge is simple – you’ll travel around Europe taking part in local angling competitions. The more questions you get right, the bigger your catch will be. From listening for details to taking part in a discussion, from using a dictionary to understanding rules for spelling and punctuation, the course lets you build your English skills and your word confidence as you play the game.
