Green Fingers
One in three parents admitted that they have problems helping their children with Maths homework and one in five struggled when it comes to English tasks [1]. If you want to brush up on your word and number skills, this course is a great way to have fun and learn at the same time.
Green Fingers is just like a board game. The aim is simple – you travel around Europe creating garden displays as you go. The more questions you get right, the better your displays will be. You’ll practise word skills like spelling, grammar and punctuation and you’ll work on number skills such as using a calculator, understanding charts and graphs and working with money.
What will you learn?
When you have finished this course, you will be able to:
• Understand simple spelling rules
• Understand and use grammar and punctuation
• Use a dictionary
• Read information from maps, charts and graphs
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
• Estimate, average, round and sort numbers
