Health & Fitness
Taking exercise, not drinking too much alcohol, eating enough fruit and vegetables and not smoking can add up to 14 years to your life [1]. If you want to improve your health and fitness - and work on your reading, writing and number skills at the same time – this course is a perfect place to start.
Health & Fitness is packed full of practical advice on how to enjoy a healthier life.
The course explores the dangers of smoking, alcohol and drugs and shows you how to put together a healthy eating plan. And whilst you learn more about healthy living, you’ll have chance to practise new word and number skills that will really help you in your everyday life. You’ll be shown how to read and understand graphs and tables, how to make sense of food labels and how to work out a calorie chart to help you lose weight.
