Would you like to know how to use a computer? This course will introduce you to what computers are about and how to use them. It consists of two modules: Concepts of IT will give you a good basic understanding of computers. In four sections, you will find out what is contained in a typical desktop computer, the applications usually found in a computer system and computer networks. Finally you will find out how you can use computers to help you at home or at work.
Using Your Computer will teach you some of the basics about how to use and look after your computer equipment and files.
Practise makes perfect, so use and improve your new skills by doing the regular exercises and assignments contained throughout the course.
