Create Manage and Integrate Files - Level 2 (MS 2000)
No matter what your job involves, there’s a good chance a computer will be a basic tool you’ll be expected to use. This course will give you the skills you need to use a PC confidently – not only will that help you to be more effective in your job, but it will be make day-to-day tasks at work quicker and easier, too.
You’ll begin by exploring the main parts of a PC system and learn what is meant by ‘hardware’ and ‘software’. You’ll be shown how to move around the Windows desktop, how to personalise your settings and how to take care of your PC. You’ll also learn how to use Windows Explorer to manage your files and how to protect your files from viruses and deletion.
Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll move on to using Microsoft Word to create professional looking documents. The course will give you a step-by-step guide to opening a Word document and entering, editing and formatting text. As your confidence grows, you’ll learn how to change the layout of your document, how to create tables, charts and graphics to add impact to your work and how to print single and merged documents.

What should you already know?
